The impact of Imperialism in India
The impact Imperialism left on India was huge. The Indians left most of the traditions and cultures they had behind and switched to the way the British lived their lives. They started using the British mechanics and hardly used any of their own creations anymore. It affected the Indians because they lost many of their things, but they also adapted to new ways of living, better ways of living. It affected the British because the British did not want to have to go to war to be able to change the way India was but that was how it turned out to be. The British originally just wanted to teach the Indians a different language and ended up taking control of all of India, so it afftected the British in more of a positive way than the way it affected the Indians.
Imperialism in India and Life today
Imperialism in India affects the lives of Indians and British today. They could either hate each other or like each other. The part of Imperialism that remains prevalent in our consciousness today is the take over by the British. The British industrialized India as well as took total control over it, and if they had not of done that then we would probably be living by Indian traditions today or be in war because British still wants to take it over. We may be forced to fight one another even if its our own side. Some Indians now a day still may be angry over what happened with the British, and some British may still hold a grudge for the Indians breaking out and rebelling to start a war. it impacts life in ways we do not even know.
